Some of the 6504/1 fixtures have experienced a problem with installing the Kandolite brand lamp. There is a fix to the problem. The problems appears to be with a specific socket. During installing the lamp the metal of the base where it flares out where meets the ceramic makes installing the lamp difficult. The solution is to take a pair of pliers and crip down the metal so that it is nearly flush with the rest of the metal base. If you have this model of fixture and let us know prior to shipment we will be happy to perform this modification here in advance. As an additional note we had a customer with the 6514 fixture that had the same issue and they called back to say the above fix was the correct resolution for their installation issue.
