Are you experiencing short lamp life?
If the life of the lamps is declining you may need to replace the socket. Sockets are inexpensive and the lamps are expensive. If you see pitting and corrosion on the contacts in your socket then you will get longer lamp life with a new socket. The most common socket for this lamp is the QLV-1 located here.
