The FLK is commonly used in New Strand Ellipsoidals (6x9, 6x12, 6x16, 8x13 using 2-pin lamps)

Note: Using the FLK (HX600) lamp in the AQ61 series fixtures delivers more light than an EHG while consuming 20% less power! The 575 watt FLK was designed as an energy efficient replacement lamp for any Ellipsoidal Spotlight using a standard medium bi-pin socket. The compact coil CC8 filament of the FLK is a more efficient design than the longer and thinner Single Coil CC8 filament used by the FEL or an EHG. 

Engineering Note: In order to maximize lamp life, proper orientation of lamp within fixture is critical in order to avoid premature failure.
