No…In the end you were wrong! The bulb was too large, and the fan hit the bulb. The equipment had to be altered to accept the second bulb …Brackets had to be bent for it to fit without the fan hitting! [we appreciated you sending the replacement, and I being a warranty administrator myself understood the terms] However your delivery and attitude conveyed in your emails are repulsive! You created the situation and put Cheryl in a defensive posture and then perpetuated it in your somewhat, rude replies. We will not use your company again in the future. I also ask that you not contact Cheryl nor myself anymore.

Note from Ron: This complaint email was one of several from this customer but in my opinion best represents the customers complaint. We tried to help the customer resolve the problem but they demanded a replacement and refused to work with technical support to find out why the lamp failed. We did send the no charge replacement. It was their equipment that damaged the lamp and not a defective lamp as they insisted. In our technical opinion the lamp was not too long. We were able to verify the lamp was correct and only is available in one length. We believe they were not fully installing the lamp in the socket. They also complained to the BBB.

I spoke with a gentleman at your firm this morning concerning an order that I placed on Feb 13th for 2 ea. CXR/CXL 8v 50w bulbs. He informed me that they were shipped on Feb 13th to my former business address in Colorado Springs and the shipment was delivered on Feb 17th. (This incorrect shipping address was due to my error when selecting payment via PayPal.)

I checked with my former neighbor (business) today and he confirmed that the shipment was received by the current tenant located at my old business address. My friend will forward the shipment to me here in Texas therefore further action on your part is no longer needed.

I was very impressed with your customer service and your company's speed in attempting to come to my rescue.

I can confirm that i received the package in 8 days (i think this a record). But i have a question. Despite the fact that i saw the pictures of the philips bulb when i bought them, i didn't realized that they don't have cable connectors. So, now i must make an diy job to have them work (they drive hot when are in use, so is difficult for me to adapt it). Do you have also philips 150w/15v bulbs with socket connectors ? Dear Ron,

I am an electrician, my kids are 16 and 14 and you do the math the bulbs are lasting about 2 1/2 to 3 months. The ones I dated when I sent the bulbs to you, 2 of the 3 are burnt out. Calculating that into you savings formula will not prove to be profitable at all! Those samples I sent to you was- what 2 to 3 months ago. Doesn't sound like things are going according to plan if you have not checked on them yet. My wife is a internet programer and you will soon have a detailed description of my experiences with your company attached to your name search. Dissappointed, yes I would say. You have cost me money and you are not taking care of business.

Note from Ron: We offered to refund for all returned lamps to which the customer has not responded. This email was sent to us on November 5th, 2008 and the initial purchase was on September 24th, 2007 over a year earlier. The lamps are compact fluorescent lamps and should last longer than a year.

I just wanted to thank you for the great service and help in getting me the operating theatre light bulbs for the Nayak hospital. This Afghanistan hospital is one of the very few main hospitals in an area the size of Connecticut. It was damaged in the recent civil war and is still in the process of being repaired and rebuilt.

Thanks again for your efforts a bulb may seem like a little thing but when youre spread out on a gurney while the doctor tries to remove the bit of shrapnel, it makes a huge difference.

I received within a few days (amazing!!) by recently placed order for three FML18/65 Eiko light bulbs which I had searched for locally for weeks without success. Your price was way better than what I was able to find (one bulb way across town, at least 35 minutes driving one way) and your delivery within a few short days is greatly appreciated. Items arrived as described and well packed!

No order confirmation email provided, but received the USPS notification email soon after ordering.
With these low prices and fast service, absence of a confirmation email is easily ignored/forgiven -- you should know, though, that first-time customers might look for one.

Just to let you know that I've finally received the package I've been waiting for so long.
Also, I must say I was shocked when I saw the dispatch date from the box - December 3rd 2007!?
More than two and a half months for a package to arrive really makes no sense. And, it looks like it didn't even go through customs check, which makes it even more strange.
Seems I was wrong when I said the the package won't arrive at all after all that waiting.
Anyway, when I receive the second package that you've reshipped without a charge (most likely it will get here somewhere in the middle of the summer ;-)) I'll let you know, and will pay you for it.
Btw, the bulbs are great, just what I needed.

Note from Ron: The above package was not lost in the mail. The customer, quite reasonably, assumed it was lost. It delivered two and a half months later. Untracked USPS Airmail or Priority Mail shipping times vary greatly from country to country.

Thankyou for lamp, it arrived this morning, Friday 28 September - Australian Central Time ( approx Thursday 22:00 UTC) just under a week. There was no customs duty as it is a non business item/personal item and items up to the value of AUD$1000 are allowed to be imported duty free.
The packaging was excellent and intact/secure upon arrival.
I have fitted the lamp and it works perfectly, I will be recommending you to other people as this lamp is unavailable in Australia.

$30.25. The actual amount on box was $11.55 to which I fully agree to add a
packing charge.

But was that correct please?
